I used to have a Carbon Black E36 convertible, and now your photos are making me want to repaint my E85

I accept this is fully subjective but I’m gonna have to disagree on that.

I’ve owned cars in both colours and here’s my thoughts:

If you want a black car...Sapphire Black is the one to have.

If you want a black car which turns navy blue in sunshine then Carbon Black is the one to have.

However as a ‘Black’ colour...Sapphire Black is better.

Hadn’t realised that tbh, then yes Sapphire would be best, it doesn’t turn another shade in the sun, makes me feel a bit better about it....
