I do own two buckets. Maybe I'll look into the technique once I've fixed the hose pipe so that it sprays water all over the car rather than the kitchen
Lots has been written on various websites like this for example http://www.detailingspot.com/?page_id=15

I'm a bit worried that the rear door seems to drain through the exhaust pipes
You learn something every day - I didn't realise 32s came in 2 sizes.
According to this site http://www.bmwstylewheels.com/bmw/32 they came in 15", 16", 17", 18" and 20"
Mr Tidy wrote: Mon Feb 05, 2018 12:30 am As for your drainage concern, might your car be incontinent?
I think the water is probably running along the side of the tailgate, out beside the light and down the bumper.

The problem with Sterling Grey, is that it actually hides the dirt REALLY well.. This is just now, after about 2,200 miles over the last 7 or 8 weeks, which is when I last (had time to) washed it.. Not really that bad, compared to some..

The little Coupe has done well this week, unlikely to get washed anytime soon either.

The interior, however, is immaculate 8)

My Zed was a bit dirty after The Beast From The East. I was pleased with how it performed on the snow though.

It does seeme like the coupes are out there roughing it more than the roadsters. I thought the roadsters always gave us a hard time about being a much better year round car than the coupe.... :P

An oldie but remember having to drive the Z4 into a wet and muddy field at a trade show. It was caked.

Apologies to the gentle souls out there.

It's that time of year again.

Mine got in this state only 2 days after being washed and pristine.
