The new Z4 Concept Car in Monterey
Another great year in Monterey capped off with the unveiling of the new Z4. Sandwiched between a the new Pagani roadster and Barchetta on one side and the new Ford GT and Le Mans winning GT40, the BMW looked quite stunning.

I prefer the shark nose of the other BMW Concept featured in Monterey, this time at the Quail event on Friday, August 18, 2017, was the 8 Series Concept, and think that would have made this Z4 concept car more aggressive and sleek looking.

I think there already is a topic about the z4 concept at pebble beach?
Like this one (among others.... but this is I think the 'main topic'):

And why is this posted in the e89 section?!?

Looks good, but how much will survive to production?
Stick a set of 19 inch wheels on it, lose the bonnet vents, tone down the front and rear treatment (surely that pronounced shark's nose can't meet pedestrian safety regs?), lose the concept wing mirrors for 'sensible' items, put a proper windscreen on it (less rake and a proper reinforced frame) and take off the speedster humps (how does the hood operate with those in place?) and you've probably got close to what it will look like when launched....
Probably be a bit underwhelmed by then.

Now Gone - 2008 Coupe, Montego Blue, Champagne leather and Piano Black interior, Eibachs & Koni Sport shocks, Style 230 19s, Eisenmann Quad - approaching perfection...

A sharp dose of reallity lol. We can all hope it looks like the concept on release but it is extremely unlikely. Reminds me of the Toyota FT1 conceptz4pilot wrote: ↑Tue Aug 22, 2017 8:57 am Looks good, but how much will survive to production?
