Break Issue Recall

Post by kolenda52 » Sat Sep 11, 2021 4:11 pm

Anyone know how long the firmware upgrade takes? Traveling some distance to the dealer and the service rep said it could take up to 8 hrs. Seems ridiculously long. Anyone had it done?

Thanks,

Steve

From memory those dealer software updates take a long time.
I was holding that now we do software updates through the app we won’t need dealer software updates.

Guess some things are still dealer only.

kolenda52, Where are you located? I'm guessing USA as my car has no recalls listed in the UK. Mine is back to the dealership next week for more investigation on the throttle issue so I will ask about this recall while it's there.

I expected as much. Seems that more recalls happen in the USA then in Europe. No signs of any recall over here at the moment. Wonder if it's anything to do with the litigious nature of the US legal system?
