So I can adjust volume, skip tracks etc using the controls on the steering wheel, but is there a way of pausing, or stopping playback?

On the wheel no, not that I know off. You have to press the volume button in on the main console.

Only way is to hit MUTE button. There isn't a pause button as such but this does the trick.

Yeah I was getting confused between cars. There isn't a MUTE button but hitting the on/off on the dash does the same.
