Frozen grey.

Be honest Ron, the blue would probably win for me but it would be a tough choice

I reckon no matter what we think of any of the frozen colours today, they will go out of fashion very suddenly.

I quite like them but also like bright colours - I like the frozen orange for certain

Trouble is the colour choice is abysmal for the G29 no…? I didn’t want black but I like a polished finish too much for frozen grey and the red is a little too dark perhaps, much like Carmine red on piggy’s, if they did mineral grey and few other colours it’d be much easier to decide imho. Why so few choices I’ve no idea. :idunno:

The frozen colours are good - but the finish will get the  in years to come- i don’t think it will stand the test of time somehow.

The colour choice is abysmal John. I made a request for an individual paint job, politely told no even at the £5k premium and they were only painting half a bloody car

We thought the red was a touch too dark too, then Kathleen took a last minute liking to black but with no garage I wasn’t keen on keeping it clean and then we saw a blue one at the dealers and it was popping in the sun, decision made

I actually think if they made more colours sales would maybe have been better. I wonder too if they do an lci that new colours may be introduced into the range as part of the facelift

I’ll be to bloody old at facelift time and probably in more need of a facelift myself than a new car!

Narrowed it down to Blue or Red
It’s that final kick I need to put mine on the market.

I had the same view of Matte Paint prior to buying my First Edition. I think it’s a pretty widely held misconception that it’s a nightmare to look after and quickly suffers from degradation. Frozen Orange was the only colour I wanted. Mines over two years old now and done 12500 miles and looks as good today (if not better) as it did the day I got it. I’ve mentioned it on other discussions that it’s the easiest car I’ve ever had to look after, as long as you use the right products. I have no concerns whatsoever that it’ll continue to look as good in the long term as it does now.

For me it has to be red. Look at the pictures at the start of this thread. If you go blue, then I personally would avoid black wheels. Polished or diamond cut wheels on this colour for me. You could also consider a wrap to have a really individual colour that you really like. I am guessing, but I feel that it could be done for less than £5000.
I used to have two boys and a girl. Now I have two Men and a Woman. :?

I agree - silver wheels are a must for me.

That’s the thing Ron, on the M40i’s they’re not silver like the ones on this post, they’re more a greyish finish, which is nice but I personally think the red goes better with silver wheels.

The other consideration for us was we wanted the black grills etc so that came with the pack with black wheels.

As discussed before it’s all down to personal choice and when Rosemary tells you what yours is you can place that order
