So new car order set for September build and October delivery so far.
I knew certain things were deleted. Wireless charging and digital key. What I didn’t know was that enhanced Bluetooth and WiFi hotspot is also deleted.
My dealer said that off the top of his head that means I can only have 1 simultaneous connection at a time.
My concern is I believe it gives more than that and will it affect the wireless CarPlay? I’m sure wireless CarPlay requires WiFi too.
Anyone have any idea?

Can't help I'm afraid, but I am concerned what is coming off the top of your dealer's head!
Did you ask him to define '1 simultaneous'? With what?

When I've had carplay in other cars it has worked with Bluetooth, not WiFi.

Yeah. Car play on other cars is usually wired. Most higher end cars are now moving to wireless CarPlay. BMW have only ever used wireless CarPlay.
Latest info I have is that even without the enhanced Bluetooth on a new car the wireless CarPlay still works.
I’m looking to get cast iron confirmation.

Had it confirmed that Apple CarPlay will still be in the car even without enhanced Bluetooth. Relief.
