Fantastic choice Sars. The best colour as well.
Re your question about music. You can sign into Spotify in the car. You don’t need your phone open or plugged in to use it either and can use all the menus via the Idrive.
Congrats again on your choice. I’m sure it will be splendid.

Him, below, the other jolly handsome devil and another picked his up yesterday so that's at least three, hmm this SF red is quite common
Thanks, it looks a lovely car but I haven't seen one in the flesh yet Thanks for the information, will spotify stream or download to the hard drive?Wyldie85 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 16, 2021 7:13 am Fantastic choice Sars. The best colour as well.

Oh hello Perry, yes I very nearly did on launch but went with the SL in the end and do not regret that at all and I'm really going to miss it.
You're not kidding, first time in 15 years of not having a convertible over summer, I started to look at cheap MX-5 but sanity came calling

They’re better in the flesh. I saw lots of pictures but it didn’t do it justice from when we got to the Cotswolds to pick it up. The red is quite unusual as well. Has a slight orange fleck in some lights but cleans very nicely.
As for Spotify, I assume it streams. It’s all over the air updates and info now on these new ones. The menu is just like it is on Spotify with recently played, favourites etc. Or there’s apple car play but I find the BMW/Spotify stuff works just as well.
Pic for reference…

Hi Carol, ah too good a deal to turn down, it means I’ve got some cash out of the SL to put towards the building work at home, my monthly payments are lower and I have a new car to boot….win win win

So you’re firmly ensconced into the Mercedes camp now, what’s that three in a row?

So I’ve just dropped the SL400 off at Webuyanycar and we come to terms with a deal that I’m happy with, now the long wait until the new Z4 arrives. First time I’ve not owned a car in 37 years

I take it WBAC are giving good prices at the moment. I approached them about my previous 35iS but they gave me a really poor value on it so I didn't bother with them in the end. I guess now they own Cinch they are looking for better cars and hence giving better prices.

I think it’s just the market forces driving the prices now.
When my car was almost three years old and with only 9k miles the dealer offered me £19k It was never going to happen - it’s worth much more today.
The Wbac and dealer offerings seem to match each other today- however neither seem to reflect the spec or it’s very low mileage - I suspect their asking price, if they got the their paws on the car, would be top dollar and some!

You don't stop playing when you get old - You get old when you stop playing!
So I bought a 35is with all the toys to play with.
