I think it’s just the market forces driving the prices now.
When my car was almost three years old and with only 9k miles the dealer offered me £19k It was never going to happen - it’s worth much more today.

The Wbac and dealer offerings seem to match each other today- however neither seem to reflect the spec or it’s very low mileage - I suspect their asking price, if they got the their paws on the car, would be top dollar and some!
I did not realise that webuyanycar are owned by BCA, so the cars they buy from the public just go straight to auction and they make their money if they sell at auction for more than they gave the seller. It seems that mileage is important as is any marks to the body, wheels and interior, but not the options the car has unless they get that from the registration.

Thanks Tim

They also own/started Cinch now so have a direct retail outlet for the good cars

They offered me more than the trade in from one dealer against my M40i

I've got a Merc GLC 300d. I've had it a couple of months now, chopped in my Merc E350 for it. Its a nice motor (well I think so)...
So you’re firmly ensconced into the Mercedes camp now, what’s that three in a row?
    Omg yes it is! 😲🥴😆

Not had a yellow one since the Boxster! They've been either black or white. Current one is white. I should get it sprayed

Suggest you get one half wrapped black and then you can choose which way to look at it depending on how you feel

I reckon if they made a g29 in yellow carol might jump ship, though I can’t imagine PVR doing so though 911 or Z4 hmmmm that’s a real difficult choice :D

I certainly can’t wait to get back in a zed,

I didn't think to ask about that when I ordered mine.
But I don't think you can, you would have to respray afterwards I think.
Since they are not produced at the regular bmw factories, but by a third party manufacturer in Austria, who also makes the supra's.
I think I read somewhere they switch production every few weeks between the Z4 and the supra.

Maybe you can get the supra yellow :)

I can’t remember which thread but someone has just ordered a custom colour from the bmw catalogue. You have always been able to with bmw individual. Build dates have been in short supply tho with shortages of silicon for electronics one of the reasons the second hand market is so redic atm

I did and got a no from BMW within the hour of asking and told the only individual colour available on the G29 is Frozen Grey. I was prepared to pay the premium they charge for an individual paint job but they were not having it
