Possibly a silly question to some but If I was to leave my car on trickle charge via the the engine bay , can I then lock the car while it is charging or will it cause any problems with the computer etc .

Everything goes to sleep - and on a maintenance charge mine sits at 13.7volts over the winter. Make sure that the charger you apply is suitable for an AGM battery.
