Ok, so for the life off me I can’t figure out how to turn off the auto dimming mirrors.
In my old zed there was a button on the mirror switch it off.
Sounds stupid, but sometimes just want to check if its a police car behind me!
Second stupid question.
When do the heated wing mirrors kick in? What temperature?

wing mirrors:
BMW wing mirrors heat automatically when it's cold out, or when you turn your wipers on (if it's cold enough). If you want to force them on currently, put your wipers on to Auto rain sensing. Most models work like this:
With wipers switched off:
Below 5°C = 100% continuous heating
Above 5°C = 0% heating
With wipers switched on:
Below 5°C = 100% continuous heating
From 5 to 10°C = 75% heating
From 10 to 15°C = 50% heating
From 15 to 20°C = 25% heating
Above 20°C = 0% heating

Ok so with the cold weather, I’ve notice my passenger side demists or de ices really quickly, but drivers side is taking some time. It also seems to start on the right side and leaves a few patches until it eventually clears.
Is this because it has the auto dim layer or do I have a faulty heating element that needs replacing?
