What we need are pictures of various colour combos and a poll. We can then see who are the bold amongst us.
:worthless:

We can then have another poll regarding the dealers behavior.

Sounds more than reasonable to me.

If your getting no joy from the dealer I'd involve BMW customer service, at the very least it should get you some sort of formal response.

Nothing from them today, the sales guy could be off of course and in over the weekend. I hoping we don’t have to get that far tbh, but let’s see.

Sytner’s in Notts and Porsche we're on it 100% in the past. I dithered at Porsche as I did here.... but sales guy rang me and said you’ve got until so and so to make a final choice, so I did, no problems, I knew what I was dealing with. Pretty fundamental when your job is selling expensive cars no...?

Walk away, you’ll have lost your deposit, but that’s considerably less than the loss once you’ve driven it out of the showroom and home

You think I’m in the wrong then Sars...? I’ve no issue if you think I am, just interested as to why.

I've heard of people who got their car in a wrong color (in Belgium), and they didn't get to re-order one (he got a discount however), i'm curious to see if you will get a new one for free, just because you changed your mind about the seat color. I'm not saying you are in the wrong, i agree they should have let you know about about the lock down date, but i dont think this will be reason enough for a full refund, and it will most likely be up to the dealer how much they want to compensate.

That being said, seats are a little more switchable than paint color, so i think they could probably just swap out the seats instead of ordering a whole new car :)

Also, i really hesitated too about ordering mine with the cognac seats, chose black in the end since i was planning on wrapping the car and i hadnt picked a color yet and black is ok with every color :)

What's not to like...? :?

Compared to black seats, it really lifts the interior without being too 'in your face'

It looks good, it's the interior I was going to go with until the salesman offered me an amazing deal on his showroom display G29.
With the black headlining the lighter interior does brighten things up a lot when the tops up.

No response from them again today... ‘tis getting a tad silly.

Whilst I really appreciate input can we keep comments to the subject and not opinions on the interior colour please, it’s detracting from the point of the thread.

John, why didn’t you just ring them instead of waiting and waiting and waiting....Make your mind up and just say what you want ..

At the end of the day you can reject the agreement, you have verbally agreed but I don’t think it’s binding ..

Alternatively you could have the car , then move it on in 5 months as you don’t like it
