I keep toying with the idea of getting mine wrapped.
I love my colour, but a satin finish might make it even better!
Do you mind me asking the cost?

after detailing it, you still see a clear line on the wrap, and some of the paint is missing on the trim

I have heard that sometimes a little heat will allow the wrap to 'heal' itself. Ask the company that made the wrap or the wrapping company?

Looking forward to seeing the finished result, especially on the 'white' side.

Costprice varies a lot depending on what you ask. (multiple colors, prints, wrapping the inside of the doorjams, sometimes even the base color will increase the price)
Simple single color change should be around 1500-2000 euro at a well known shop. (you can maybe find cheaper, but ask around to make sure its done properly then)
The previous wrap cost me around 2500, 3000 including the ppf on the lights and gloss black parts.
The new wrap will be around 4000euro.

ppf film is selfhealing indeed, most of the times parking it in the sun is enough to fix it, for regular film i don't know, maybe for small scratches, i'll ask about it when i go pick up the car
.
But the part was warped, they ended up replacing the entire front bumper, after 4 repair attempts at bmw.

Wow! Next time I’m en-route south from Europort (booked for June as driving down to Italy) I’ll keep a look out around the Antwerp area. Pretty sure I won’t miss that G29.

Hopefully by then travel will be a little easier again, i'm still hoping to take mine to Germany some day and see what the new top speed is without the limiter
