Just watch out for stones if you have the M Sport brakes. I have documented this in another post.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy your new car.

Happy motoring :driving:
Nice to see you chose the best colour too lol
I’ve added the section from the app that mentions the problem :)

It does say in the manual it may happen, and they recommend driving backwards and forwards a few times!
Seriously. Does this not then mean that they know there is a problem?

Thank you, I will keep an ear out! At least I’ll know what it is.

Tried all that but it does not work. You either have to keep driving in the hope that the stone comes out or take it to your dealer like I had to do. Happened to me 4 times in the first 3 weeks of ownership. Sounds like a big cat being kicked on the backside repeatedly. :headbang:

This kinda goes against your dealer telling you that BMW hadn't had it brought to their attention before

BMW HQ say that they have not had any other M Sport brakes complaints regarding the Z4 G29 but I am hearing that this has been a common problem on the M2, M3 and M4 for years. The brakes on all of these models are similar in design. :headbang:

Thank you, although bit of a leap of faith as I didn’t really know if it would work very well. Love it in the flesh :)
