I know it’s a bit harsh, but fair
I know there’s no comparison in the way it drives and it’s capabilities. But there really is a comparison in the way it looks. Its proportions from the side, and the body line that goes from the front wheel arch and rises to the rear, and the side vent behind the front wheel arch. Even the most die hard BMW fan which I am one of can see that.
It's a front engined rwd roadster. Loads of them have a similar profile.Zeld4 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 02, 2019 8:10 pmI know there’s no comparison in the way it drives and it’s capabilities. Yes you are right about that too, all the terrible looking front engined rwd roadsters that look like a Crossfire also look terrible just like a Crossfire.buzyg wrote: ↑Tue Apr 02, 2019 8:14 pmIt's a front engined rwd roadster. Please don’t misunderstand, I’m not commenting on the way it drives. I have no doubt it’s a brilliant car, and I think it’s totally worth the 50k asking price. And one day I may come to appreciate the way the new Z4 looks as I have come to appreciate other ugly cars over time. But you can’t deny there are some body lines on the new Z4’s flank that are remarkably similar to that of the Crossfire.NewZdriver wrote: ↑Tue Apr 02, 2019 8:58 pm I own a G29. Some of the posts on this forum are ridiculous tbh. Each to their own but the car is amazing in every way. I loved my e89 but this thing is in a different league. If you’ve not tried one, go do so. You might change your minds !!
You will get used to it.NewZdriver wrote: ↑Tue Apr 02, 2019 8:58 pm I own a G29. Some of the posts on this forum are ridiculous tbh. Each to their own but the car is amazing in every way. E85/86 owners have been slagging E89s for years.
Now its the G29s turn.
