Better then the 2.0. But still not a £50k car for me. I'd rather have a nearly new Boxter for that money.

So I'm keeping my old fun go-kart E85 3.0Si.

£50k that’s double what I paid for my first house... and I made money on that...

Pistonheads Driven Review ZM40i

Test drove one today and although it’s better in the flesh than in the photos, the drive was well.....a bit bland. Don’t get me wrong, if you’ve never driven a powerful car then it will blow your socks off but having had E92 M3’s, F-type R’s and currently a stage 3 E89 35iS, it was a bit tame.
Great road holding, compliant and comfortable but the noise in the cabin did not translate when you opened the window expecting a howl and pops and burbles BUT.....bland.
I walked away saying to my wife that for £54k, I could have a great 2nd hand M4 - so that’s what I bought! A bonkers competition model with noise and road presence with no sign of Mr.Bland whatsoever.
M4 competition - OOOoohhhhhhhh Yes!
Z4 35is e89 - gone
Jag F-type coupe R (RWD) - gone
Z4mc e86 - gone
M3 e92 - gone
Z4 3ltr e85 roadster - gone
