As title,I don't think photos do the new z4 justice......it's actually nice in the flesh, even if it does look like a combination of an mx5 and a cut down 4 series convertible, and you almost expect it to have back seats, lol.
I do like the overall look, and think the much debated front end is a grower ,but the side sway lines, and details/lines of the bonnet are well detailed.
Lights look good front and back, grill looks better than you think, and the interior is spot on.
The standard seats are so nice and similar to the performance seats costly option on the f type Jag,
And I was pleasantly surprised to find out the ones in the M40i I was in had standard seats and not a costly option.
Thumbs up there, and a it has alot of standard kit,and the optional hud and Harmon kardon come as a pack with other things,so that would be my only extra taken,I think.
Roll on the test drive when I can get one arranged

A random diversion?Kasey000 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 10, 2020 11:43 am Under the hood of the F-TYPE R sits a supercharged V-8 engine. I'm fairly certain the OP is commending the latest Z4?

And in the same price range you get the 4cylinder with 300HP with nearly no options (at least last year)
I hesitated to buy the jaguar but i'm glad i didn't. The Z is so much better value in my opinion, it's faster, you get it full option for the price of a stock jag, it has better fuel economy , sounds 10times better than the 300HP jag, and you pay less taxes (at least in Belgium), and it doesnt break down as often

Hello and welcome to the forum, maybe worth introducing yourself in the Newbie section and you will be asked (harassed) for pictures if you don’t provide them!
0-62 in the M40i is 4.6 so plenty quick and doesn’t drink the fuel as quickly so the M40i will likely be my next one if/when
G29 M40i Thundernight with Ivory interior, all option packs (here for a while, hopefully )
G29 M40i Misano Blue all option packs (Gone 26k of fun)
E89 35iS, Valencia Orange, Design Pure Traction pack (Gone)
E89 23i sDrive, Silver (Gone)

M40i 0 to 60 in a little over 4 seconds. Euro Tour in July gave me close to 40mpg with some very spirited driving over the Alps. 48mpg at a steady 60mph in Eco! As a daily driver there’s nothing close to it in the class IMO due to economy, practicality (big boot), driver focused aids and quality of drive. I also see a lot more F Types on the road than G29s so a little more special as well.Kasey000 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 10, 2020 11:43 am Under the hood of the F-TYPE R sits a supercharged V-8 engine.
