Consider yourself lucky that there are any 6 cylinder engine versions at all, BMW could have dropped them completely à la Porsche with the Boxster

Give it 10 years and regulations will probably mean that the last generation of internal combustion engines in cars are 2 cylinder/500cc with several turbos that'll sound like an amphetamine-overdosed beehive...
