Engine coolant flush procedure

Post by Zoso » Sun Aug 11, 2019 8:33 am

Guys

Plenty of info online for flushing and refilling but nothing on our engine.

Is the procedure the same for the 3.0 litre block? Or m54 unit?

I have all the fluids and I'm ready to go.

Any guidance will be welcome.

Is it 8.3 litre capacity? The procedure would be awesome.

Thanks

Engine coolant flush procedure

The Pelican Parts how-to for the iron block M52 derived engine suggests it would be as used in the E46 and is the same flushing procedure as the M54. Since it's built around the US derived M3 unit it looks like it's 10L

Providing you take account of it being for US spec models Pelican is always worth a look
