Do you have an intravee fitted? (that’s been fitted by a previous owner).Although It would recognise the iPhone wouldn’t it?

Hi to be an iPod/iPhone interface. Either oem or dension I would think. It would be worth re routing to the glovebox if you want it out of the way.

PS you can post more than one picture per post you know.
Either OEM or Dension interface I would say. Should be able to move to glovebox if you want out of site.

Don't know why but multiple photos aren't loading on my posts anymore, Sometimes I can't get single photos to load! It's only been a problem last few weeks,
:(

When I get a chance I'll trace the cable back, it's certainly iPod/iPhone connection, thought it might be AUX connection but doesn't seem to be!

Can’t be aux. Unlikely to be intravee, but not impossible.

When I plug in the iPhone it says device not recognised on the phone, I'm thinking phone might need software added for whatever it's connected to, had a look in all the various compartments and nothing obvious so if it's still in the car it must be behind the ashtray!

Apologies for the lack of photos and update, I've been too busy enjoying myself! :driving:

Left home at 5am yesterday morning to catch 6am train to Yorkshire and got back around 6pm!
Decided to travel back on the A68 and put the car through its paces, what a machine! :D

A couple of minor issues I'll need to get fixed out but nothing that's spoiling my enjoyment!

Sunshine today meant I just had to head out again, can't top smiling!

Only managed to get a few photos with my phone so far!
They are nice to drive :D wife still doesn't understand why I offer to go to the shop more than I used to.

Well removed the ashtray today to se if I could identify where the iPhone/iPod cable came from!
Just more cables that go up behind the vents so still no idea!

Congrats on the Alp!

That's definitely an old iPhone cable, however it's a cheap aftermarket one and 9 out of 10 of them will display "device not recognised" because they don't contain the chip required.

Buy a decent one and you'll be laughing!

Thought the little blue bit might be the chip!
Looks like I'll need to remove the vents then!
