Just got my insurance renewal.... £145 (inc. protected no claims)

So with road tax at £245 and a £40 MOT, next year's on-the-road costs come in at £430 :P

Admiral - it's part of my multi-car policy but they break it down to the price for each vehicle

Very little - I only did just over 900 miles last year so used about a third of a litre... she'll still get an oil change before being tucked away for the winter though :)

Pretty much any ordinary sports car car is cheap to run if you don't drive it.

When it's gone it's gone and you move on. :o

The lack of mileage wasn't intentional, it was more a case of life getting in the way - couldn't even make time to get to ZedFest.
Everything has been very hectic for us since early this year and then, when we had the odd bit of free time, the weather was crap... :x

At least your Zed is not costing you too much in the mean time. Life doesn't wait around for us does it.

Just had my renewal through from Admiral £511 for both cars. After a phone call now £412, with the ///M being £200 including all mods.

May have to try admiral when my cover runs out for my cars.

I have 2 1/2 cars and the misses has 1 too so maybe worth checking out.

Did they split your no claims bonus too?

Renewal's not due until the start of October so I haven't had my little chat with Admiral yet....

So i didn't forget about it, I did a bit of shopping around and then called Admiral, the result was a £120+ reduction in the renewal quote for our 3 car policy

This included £22 off the Alpina so that's now down to £123 (inc. protected no claims) - it seems to get cheaper every year so hopefully, at some point, they'll be paying me to insure it with them... :P

I found Admiral were good value when we had 2 youngish drivers in the house, but then they started to get silly. When we found other insurance companies quoting hundreds cheaper, Admiral's counter offers were quite pathetic really.
