Any love for Seiko Dive watches here? I just ordered myself an SKX007J - I really only ordered it because I fancied a new hard-wearing daily - since Lock-down I've not had much reason to wear my Speedy, so have just defaulted to the G-Shock I normally only use Offshore. Fancied something a little less 'utilitarian'!

Bought it on a bit of a whim, having only done enough research to know I wanted the 'J' one rather than the 'K' one, but have since done a load more reading up, and understand they seemingly have quite a following, and a fair old 'mod' scene. I doubt I'll get much into that beyond a few different straps but it's fascinating stuff, and I'm now really excited to get my hands on the watch!!

Generic pic off Google below, whilst I wait for mine!

Funny you should say that, my dad had an original arnie watch as his diver watch years ago in the carribbean, but sadly lost it water-skiing - I've just bought him the reissue for his birthday coming up!

Image my dad bought this Rolex in Bahrain in the 70’s, still got the original receipt, he told me I must wear it every day, so I have for the last 20years. I find it funny how every asks me if it’s fake.😁

I try and wear then all accaisionally but mostly it's the Tudor and Garmin that get used regularly.

In my opinion, your first posted photo is the Benchmark.
