First pass at finding a suitable strap to go with the Kienzle. May stick with that for now

Lets see your Watches

I'm not a collector but I really do like a nice watch. I remember being in my late teens and one of the guys I knew locally and considered to be successful always wore Tag Heuer watches so I said to myself that if I ever could afford one then I would buy myself one. I joined to police 13 years ago and as it was coming up to my 10th year AMJ Watches started taking orders for this limited edition model. You had to be a current or retired member to buy one (verified through your federation) so I treated myself. Specifically got number 111 as it's a number I use for my car regs and other custom things.

I know there are better watches for the money but it was a mental bucket list thing and something now very personal to me that will be passed on in family.

That's fantastic, I also didn't know TAG did special editions for the Police. Bit like Breitling with the Squadron badges on their dials. Very cool.
And as 111 is the emergency number here, very appropriate

Ha! Got THE Bmw M watch I always wanted on ebay, 50£ ! :)
(Indeed A LOT cheaper than at the dealer some years ago)

Only needed a new strap, which I just got.

Playing with my newish macro lens so I thought you might be interested in my heirloom. Gifted to me by my grandad, right after he got it in 1967. Still keeps perfect time but it's rarely worn. I'll give it to my grandson when he's a bit older, although I doubt he'll know what to do with it "What do you mean I have to wind it every day?"
