I didn't get on with the skx007, alignment issues and a loose chapter ring meant it went back. I've replaced it with a Seiko Samurai, much better quality.

Good choice. That chapter ring alignment would have annoyed you everytime you looked at it. The Samurai looks great .
I'm looking at (potentially) getting a Sumo from a friend wanting to part with his. Will post here if I do

Picked up one of the Omega NATO's for my TinTin last week. It was a pressie to me to make up for not buying any watches while in Singapore/Hong Kong. God knows the temptation was there in spades everytime I set foot outside of the hotel

Yet another Seiko divers watch as there seems to be a few on the past couple of pages of this thread. This is a SKA369p1. Love the feel of this watch, looks chunky without being massive and the brushed steel finish is classy. Strap is really solid, not clanky or loose and I think it just looks right. It’s a kenetic, so not as desirable as an automatic but I’m really chuffed with it and got it for a reasonable price.

Now that is very cool . I have an eco-drive worldtimer but never wear it, just didn't 'bond' with it...

Many thanks, it was on their 50% off sale this week so a good 600 off, bargain considering the complication, something a bit different, just takes takes a little getting used to reading the time

Have been a collector of watches for many a year, my main forum home being over at TZ-UK but spending more time over here at the moment.
All started years ago 70s when my Uncle had a Seiko 6139-6002 aka the Pogue, 15 years ago I saw an old photo of him wearing it and had to buy one, from there I was hooked and been buying/selling ever since, a few photos attached
The Pogue Trio of U-boats, not everyone's cup of tea and the early one where awful but these are really really good, trust me Deepsea - now sold to buy a NDc, somehow prefer it, the purist of the modern subs, no cyclops and lovely dial, below Sorry to swear at you, next is a Porsche!!!!
Have a few others, Sinn, Omega, Lumtec etc but leave those for the time being, its a good interest to have and if you buy right your moneys safe

Picked this Orca up off TZ and it turned up this morning. I got it for my up coming beach holiday but thought I would give it an airing for a few days. They are getting rare now so really lucky to pick it up for the right money

Picked up this mint Oris Aquis recently. The quality is very pleasing and I’ve really taken a shine to it, even the polished bracelet links which previously put me off.
