I still don't get the value of Facebook but did join recently as I am fairly active in ZSCCA and they have a group on facebook.

Facebook pages don't replace the forum, it's free advertising! Or thats how I use it with my forum, which feeds interesting stuff out to FB and Twitter automatically.

Look at it like this :- If you aren't on this site, but are on Facebook and you type 'Z4' in the search box, one of the first pages returned is this sites Facebook page. What they then do is click on it and then see lots of enticing Z4 related 'stuff' and a link to the main forum. Once you are on the forum you sign up, and you end up with a new member!

If current members who are also on Facebook post pictures and interesting Z4 related stuff, it will attract new members and you get new friends to talk Zeddies with :thumbsup:

Facebook is a great tool if used correctly.
