Yeah, upon closer inspection that blue one is poor….but that black one! Nice (apart from the cost).

As I keep telling the wife; quality doesn't come cheap :D
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

E89 20i Now fully dried
Z3 'free litre'. Project and a half. Complicated!
Mazda3 sold

Looking for a scale model E85

Just to tag onto this thread - I'm looking for a couple of models without any success so far.
So if anyone can point me towards models of a pre-facelift E85 in black, and a facelift E85 in any colour (preferably silver/grey)...

Odd how Black Sapphire is such a common colour but there's no models about in black; and it seems you can get a model E86 but not facelift E85 :(
2008 E85 3.0si
Space Grey, Dream Red New England heated Msports.
Xenons, MFSW, cruise, PDC, wind deflector.
ZHP, stubby, gloss black grilles, DLV box, gaptech, no CDV.

Wow! That is some amount of detail! Right down to the roof hinges and dash switches.
Not one for a kid to play with though.

That is very nice indeed, but a bit too rich for me. To contemplate that sort of money it would have to be a closer match to the actual car and be RHD and have Msports too...

8 hours left and it's still on it's starting bid. Also has a "Make an offer" option on it.
It's left hand drive I think but the detailing on these models is very good.
Wish I had seen that. Someone got a total bargain there.

That was me. I waited a few hours to see if enuff_Zed had gone for it, then put in a bid and won it for less than a tenner.
Unfortunately I'd overlooked the fact that the car was collection only, which would have meant a round trip of 600 miles for me (Aberystwyth to Lowestoft and back). So I messaged the seller to apologise and tell him to keep the money and relist, which he did, although he very generously did refund me for what was a mistake on my part.
Fair play.

Kind of you to wait for me. Sorry I wasn't aware.
Holding out for a black one if possible, no great rush.

Should have asked if our resident Aberystwythian (Babw) could have collected it for you, and posted it on!

Didn't know there was another member in the area although there are a few local Zeds knocking around.

Leatherhead for one of the Maisto model ebay ads.

But I misread one of the posts and though the seller was in Aberystwyth and the buyer was in Lowestoft.

My mistake - again. The seller was in Leatherhead (not Lowestoft) and I'm in Aberystwyth :slaphead:
