What model is this ? I like it, BMW has lost its way big time with design recently but this isn't a bad stab at a coupe. I like its beefy rear quarter and its overall strong stance. Its a brave design and kind of harps back to the Z3 m coupe. The wheels all be it are not great but for a modern wheel they aren't half bad. If I had the money I would certainly go and have a look at one but I too love the new Supra...

Apparently it was an attempt at a recreation of the “breadvan”

That's 'cause you have ordered a G29. Your SL400 is a really nice car, even if it is not yours anymore.
Perhaps if you were Mr Happy, you’d find the beauty in all things :poke:

I’ve now seen quite a few G29’s on the road and I can say that I’m entirely happy with my choice. Yes the SL was a lovely car in all respects, I miss it very much.

It’s not bad looking, but it’s neither striking (like the rear view of the Z3M Coupe) nor beautiful (like the Z4M Coupe).
It would make a credible ///M variant of a 3-door 1 series:

Not for me, I find the G29 front end to be off putting, I believe the technical term is "f**k-ugly"

That's probably because you fancied Princess Anne back then. Is she unattractive now?
