Been to carfest North a couple of times and we've loved it. Loads for the kids to do, good food, plenty of drink and great music line ups! Only done day trips but we fancy a weekend next time as the line up is different every night. We've been lucky with the weather however. Wouldn't fancy it if the weather is rank!

Is there plenty of car stuff to see? Many dealership/car merchandise stands? Or is it more about the music. I would only be going daytime.

They set up a track around the grounds and have cars running throughout the day. Old and new stuff, motorsport etc. Manufacturers have stands with merch as well. Its only in the eve when the music starts. Loads of stands to blow your money on! Food, clothing, memorabilia

Is it just me that thinks its pretty overpriced for a family day out? 165 quid entrance for a family of 3 for 1 day just seems a bit much, not to mention the overpriced food and vendors once in
if its got tits or tyres..its trouble :D

Razorlight, faithless, Paul Heaton & jacqui abbott, tom grennan were brilliant this year. As were soul 2 soul last time we went so if you're into music and cars then the family ticket is good value. Won't appeal to everyone I guess. I know they are only playing a handful of songs but imagine how much you'd to pay to go see them normally.
