Having both imho as a new customer I would 100% go with Amazon, they definitely have a better selection of films, Ive not watched a single film on Netflix as I can never find anything that looks worth a watch. The biggest bonuses from Amazon is you also benefit from the free delivery service, the free music facility and free ebook facility if you have a kindle or ebook device.. i barely buy a book anymore and read plenty. loads of great tv too, for £80 a year its impossible to beat.. however once you have had it 10 years the amount of quality tv box sets do become a bit limited as you will have watched all the best stuff.
Netflix is a great service too which now we use more than Amazon for tv but as mentioned the film selection imho is very poor.. some good tv on there though and we have enjoyed some great box sets, its cheap enough but doesn't combine all the other great features Amazon membership has, tough choice but if I was just getting oneit would be Amazon

Got both Netflix and Amazon Prime - both have decent content but like others have said they both lack a bit of new stuff.
Covid delayed a lot of filming but there seems to be a fair bit of content getting added Aug and September.

I’m going to let Mrs K make the choice - I think that’s the only safe way!
It seems they all have their + & - features and benifits.
Inputs are appreciated

You need to get out more.
Buy a Z4, experience the great outdoors.
Also, isn't that prejudiced, having 'Max' but not 'Lewis'. The equality police will be all over you for that.

Wouldnt (and dont) pay for any of it, I grab amazon and netflix when they offer me a free month and never renew as they are largely garbage, dont have a tv loicence either. I mostly use YouTube and various other free methods of seeing stuff but I have never been a much of a tv consumer.

The pay TV thing isn’t my idea - there are umpteen progs to watch on the HDR - they normally get deleted before they are watched!
But you know how it works
To be fair tho, not an eyebrow has been lifted when I talk about a new M40i

Hmmm - know what you mean in a way mate - I've been trying to persuade SWMBO we need a bigger TV - we have an old 42" Plasma Panasonic - I'd like to update it to a Smart 55" Panasonic - unfortunately she is not impressed - considers the one we have is quite adequate and big enough - the bugger just goes on and on and tbf the picture is as good as when it was knew some 13 years ago - been considering dropping a glass of water down the back of the TV - at the end of the day I'm 72 and should be able to say " We're having a new Telly and that's that ! " but when you been married 45 years it's easier to just do as you're told lol

Same sort of age and years of marriage and I did just that!
Walked into Richer Sounds and came out with a super 55”Sony Oled a new AV amp and HDR - They price matched so I couldn’t resist.
Thro the years she would have just been happy with TV we had but has always acknowledged that the new kit was an improvement. I have resisted any “I told you so” comments.
A man spends too much time in his box to go without toys at this age!

Right - I'm a retired Prison Governor so should be able to assert myself - wish me luck

Don't try to assert yourself, it's a waste of time. I just give up straight away and save a lot of time and grief.

You have to let them think that a new TV etc is their idea or just twist on and on and on (The broken record technique) That usually ends up with oh, just go an get a bloody new TV - then don’t hang a about, Just go out and buy!

This is a picture of me shortly after telling Lynn I would be making all the major decisions in the relationship and to make me a sandwich.
