Post by maxman » Wed Jul 21, 2021 10:30 pm

Today I informed my insurance we were moving to a different postcode area, this is 7 miles from where we are now,to a rural village location. The price difference is a drop from £258 to £160.The car is garaged in both locations. :D

Bwlchgwyn,3rd highest village in Wales, although the sign says it’s the highest.Your correct Steve ,it’s quiet around here. The LL13 postcode covers a large area of Wrexham including a famous housing estate.

I'm hoping my move completes in the next couple of weeks.

Only going about 5 miles, but it'll be interesting to see if it makes a difference!

Thanks for that Andy. :P

    But you're probably right.

Although it will be garaged at the new place - that was a major factor in my choice!

    Where’s the new place Iain?

The difference in insurance between GU10 (where I live) and GU12 (Aldershot) is quite significant.

I didn't find GU12 too expensive when I lived there, but I was in Ash rather than Aldershot!

This time I'll be going from GU47 to GU14.

There’s some great photo opportunities around the airfield (check out Wyldie’s threads) and some great drives out to the east, south and west of you. Obvs if you go North you’re back in Sandhurst!
