He said one thing that struck a chord with me and that was that a political system that throws up a choice between Corbyn and Johnson is a failed one. Don't know what it would take to get leaders of the calibre they have in Germany or New Zealand but it can't come soon enough.
Thats excellent

Fair enough. Don't know as much about her as Jacinda Adhern.

Predict the next casualty will be Starmer and as predicted over a year ago he will be replaced by Andy Burnham.

The best thing Boris and Co could do now is allow Labour to win the next By Election thus keeping Starmer in power for a while longer.

Well you could argue it was Cummings himself, and deservedly so!

I don't really understand why anyone would believe anything he says given his previous antics.

Maybe he is only getting listened to so the BBC can indulge in their favourite pastime of Tory Government bashing!

Don't know if Hancock is telling the whole truth or not and to be honest couldn't care as nearly all politicians tell porkies to some degree. It's what they do.
Credit where credit is due though, when door stepped by the press this morning he spoke to them, he turned up in Parliament today in response to Labours urgent question, when he could have sent a deputy and he didn't duck out of the press briefing at 5pm when he could have.

Love him or hate him, he has balls.

This for me - he got sacked a few months later than he should of in my opinion - nothing will happen to anyone in government as the vaccine rollout is going pretty well :)

I'm curious about where Cummings thinks his next job is going to come from. Regardless of whether any of his claims are believed or do damage - who would employ him now???

Any financial institution, lobbying company, company who needs inside information about international trade or politics. You name it, that boy ain't gonna go hungry. He's more employable than an ex PM.
If Blair can earn a bloody good living, anybody can! :x

Herr Gruber and Boris the clown are both as bad as one another as are all his sycophantic brexiteer cronies - their ineptitude in dealing with the pandemic in breathtaking - never once admitting they got anything wrong or using the words sorry or even regret ! Cummings hit the nail on the head when he said the 2019 election was really a choice between Corbyn and Johnson and now we don't have a plausible opposition and Boris has a massive majority and can railroad anything through he wants - and it seems no matter what he does people will still vote for him :(

I will always remain a Tory but can't wait to see his demise - Therese May had more integrity that this whole bunch put together .

Surely 'who you know' implies that those contacts might respond favourably when approached? My guess is many of them wouldn't trust him & so aren't worth a great deal. We'll see - but I think banks & lobbyists would steer clear for fear of getting tarnished.

So banks and lobbying people have the greatest of integrity?
I don't honestly think the word "integrity" is recognised by any of the above. If you replaced it with "money", then OK. If I was in the kind of industry where someone who pretty much ran the Government of the UK was of use to me; as long as he brought his "little black book" with him, I would employ him tomorrow at £5m a year plus a company car scheme :D
