Definitely turn around!
Seen first hand the damage water can do to an ICE, especially when it's got a turbo sucking it in.
Insurance have the right to refuse any claim too as self-inflicted. :o
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

Same here I'd probably turn around to be honest as it's too much luck of the draw with that one and could be expensive if your insurer refused to pay out.

The road I take to work each day has a bend that sometimes floods....drove through this time, but luckily a black e89 came the other way first, and she thought I was kind for letting her go first! Sill cow, never even waves when I normally see her: https://youtu.be/sbcXew423uI

Turn around and take an alternative route after that time.

And then I nearly got wiped out with this stretch (same road) that I'd never seen flooded before: https://youtu.be/D9VHFwWHkVA

(don't remember the videos being this dark for some reason)

I go to Rufford quite often and I always go the long way around rather than go through the Ford. I love cars too much for those silly games to be fair!

Those that do go fast through the Ford...do keep the spectators who watch happy though for sure! :D

Most of them are clueless and go in way too quickly. You really don’t want that bow wave at the front rising up above air intake level. I suspect the cars that conked out probably have hydrolock which basically means a written off engine.
