But easier to avoid chatting to someone for a second or two who you don't want to chat to.

I think this is where we're headed too. I'm very pleased to be getting back in the office - the social aspect and ease of communication.

I hate having to plan almost every conversation as a diary slot rather than getting out of my chair and chatting to someone for a second or two!

I have been working from home for 12 years. Hate the office. But it's horses for courses and it suits me.

Had 3 hours in the office last Thursday. Got to meet some newbies we had hired during lockdown.
Found the office had had a complete refurb' inc those wind up desks you can stand behind and work, plus new PC, which fired up
and worked perfectly, remarkable.

New kitchen, lounge and TV's dotted around. I will be pluging in smart boxes into TV's for when working over Christmas.
Two years ago i got payed extra for watching Blackadder box sets over Christmas
