Always a sad time when we loose a bastion and Philip really was.
Such a shame the mould was broken when they made him.
I wonder if our queen will stand down now ?

Yes, a sad day. I always liked how he spoke his mind and ignored the PC agenda!

But he had a good innings and a full life. RIP.

Just thinking the same thing. Give the man the private funeral he wanted, leave a little time after then, hand over the Charles.
The Queen can then celebrate her reign with some satisfaction of a job well done.

Just hope Harry & Meghan's response is short and dignified.

He played a selfless supporting role to Liz for all those years yet still made a difference in his own right.
Apparently the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme was all his idea.
