I wonder if they got to the bottom of it at the other end and know exactly what happened.
There can only be a few possibilities with one of them being an employee trying to pull a fast one.

LWR haven't offered any explanation. I suspect Tag simply mixed up the case with another watch bizarre as that sounds. I just can't believe a watchmaker would do that kind of damage whilst working on a watch, if they did they shouldn't be in a job

At least LWR did come good on it but it was just an unnecessary faff and disheartening when I'd spent £550 for a service
