May be needing the NHS if they cause a second wave as most here are in the BAME group so being selfish could cost them in the long run

Same thing happening here for 10-11 days running. I think we will see the spike in 7-10 days. I'm distancing more than ever from these fools.

Lock down everything within the M25

No one goes out side

No one crosses the M25 going either way in or out

Then the majority of the protesters can reap their own rewards

Some will still try and blame the government for the impending rise in infection despite the mass gatherings and bad behaviour.

Had my COVID-19 antibody blood test back on Tuesday.

The big question is whether the presence of antibodies actually confers immunity.

Have a look at the BBC article entitled "Coronavirus came to UK 'on at least 1,300 separate occasions" as found here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-52993734

I suspect it all depends on what part of any of those 1300+ C-19 variants your antibodies act upon and how much similarity/sameness there is between all those variants?

Fever >39.5 for 2-3 days, reducing to high 38s with regular paracetamol. This was associated with quite severe headache and widespread muscle ache. Temp settled to mid 38s after a few days and development of mild cough. No overt shortness of breath or chest pain. Temp was better controlled by day 5. Generalised fatigue for a following few days.

Not the best then, but not the worst!
Just wondered what triggered you having the test.
Hope you're feeling better now?

NHS GP. Testing starting to be rolled out for staff.
Yes, am fine. I was back at work the week after.
By 'amazing' coincidence my illness coincided with a week off I had booked for holiday so despite the illness and associated 7 day isolation I didn't miss any time off work.

When were you suffering with symptoms date wise, just out of interest? We are trying to get anti-body tests for all our staff at work here but the government has blocked the postal type ones now while they are investigated for accuracy. It's a massive deal for us if we could in principle bring some of or best workers back off furlough early if they have had the virus previously. The only question that still needs solid answers is the one over immunity post infection.

I suffered with the symptoms at the end of March.

A couple of weeks ago, we did COVID-19 swabs at work (was a study for identifying asymptomatic carriers). Everyone at work, including myself tested negative. The swabs are only positive if you have an active infection (symptomatic or not).

Interestingly, a couple of weeks after I was sick, one of our nurses became unwell also. This was to the extent she required hospital admission. She was swabbed a couple of times in hospital - all negative. She also had the blood antibody test - positive!

I work for a parcel company and we did, for 2 weeks at least handle the collection of home test kits. All parcels picked up from the person's fridge and placed in a cool box in the van. Did 4 or 5 a day for a fortnight then it suddenly stopped. Apparently starting up again next week.

At least I know someone's going to be home when I call, unlike when they order stuff online and forget they need to be there to receive it 🤬🤬🤬
