Car insurance on the rise?

Just renewed last week on the M140i, my Premium with BMW had gone up from £568 to 650, with 250 excess, full NCB etc, called Adrian Flux and reduced it to 427 so a little better :)

I used Chris Knott for the 35is and they were very competitive - I ve just tried them for the 335 and the amount saved wasn’t worth the effort.
You don't stop playing when you get old - You get old when you stop playing!
So I bought a 35is with all the toys to play with.

Thats a shame Ron, going by other forums Chris Knott seem to be reasonably competitive compared to most. I only tried Adrian Flux as I'm with them on the Hyundai, plus BMW won't insure you if the car has non BMW parts fitted which I only recently found out about when I read the policy in more detail

My policy was due for renewal a few weeks ago.

I used Churchill last June when I had my 3.0Si and they were very reasonable - but seemed expensive for my MC with some mods, as in £570+.

I tried Chris Knott and all they seemed to want to do was beat the Churchill price by 10%, so they quoted £514 - not impressed.

Adrian Flux did it for £422. :D
Coupes because stunning!
Current - Silver Grey MC, Imola Red heated Nappa & carbon trim. Aeros, H & R Coil-overs, 224s, OE Strut brace, Nav, cup-holders, DSP Hi-Fi, pdc, cruise, MFSW, no CDV! E90 330i daily
Gone - Montego Blue
Gone - Ruby Black

Car insurance on the rise?

My renewal for the zed and the e350 just came in.. increase of £3 on the z to £174 and £5 on the merc to £278, done all the comparisons and no cheaper deals to be found so staying with my current insurers this time round, nothing drastic increase wise though :D
if its got tits or tyres..its trouble :D

Aviva quoted me £720 renewal on a 3 car policy (up from ~£600) and wouldn't budge or give me any explanation as to why it was increasing by £120, so got a new quote from LV for £590 + £65 cashback. Their loss!
