New Puppy

Post by Big Red Cat » Tue Dec 31, 2019 7:38 pm

We got a new puppy a few weeks ago to join our three year old Staffie, Arlo. She is a Miniature Bull Terrier & is called Lottie.
As a typical Bull Terrier she is pretty crazy but she is getting on really well with Arlo. She has just started going for walks & loves meeting other dogs so hopefully she will be a sociable dog. Starting puppy training next week - think that will be interesting :)

Fantastic. We had our latest addition about 3 months ago. They are hard work ( Just like having a child again ) but great fun.

You say good-bye to an old dog and you wonder how the hell they knew so much and if you'll get all that ground work done with a new puppy.

We used to rescue GSD's at around a year old when inexperienced owners couldn't handle them. This time we got one at six months who the breeder had held for a buyer who in the end couldn't have her. Nice to get a 'box fresh' pup. We've had her about ten weeks now - my lad got a photo of her getting into Christmas!

How cute Fran, she's lovely. How long do you think the sofa will last.

I grew up with GS's and love the breed, she's a right poser Andy

Yea but its each to their own - no better no worse than any other. We all go with breads we love and there's nothing better than your own pupper - even if they are a whole bag of mischief

Nice looking pup and dog. I had a Lottie dog for 14 years. Queensland Heeler, Best Friend, gone too soon. Her full name was Lottida for her kick back attitude. Got 5 dogs on the ranch now.

It’s what remains of a nylabone chew. They come in different strengths. We tried the various smaller ones which he demolished. That one is ‘wolf’ strength and when new was nearly as big as he is. You can see he has already chewed one end.
