Wheeler Dealers

Post by ronk » Tue Nov 12, 2019 12:35 pm

I’ve just watched an episode of Wheeler Dealers on Quest - the end credits showed 2014
They did a Porsche 993, bought for £12k and sold for £19k (N449 XNC)

Purely out of interest I looked at the Dvla web site and saw that the car they have done up, MOT expired a year later. Perhaps there’s a good reason, or it been just a bodged up and flog it job?

There was also a reduction of miles at some stage 160k down to 140k !
You don't stop playing when you get old - You get old when you stop playing!
So I bought a 35is with all the toys to play with.

Don't know about the 993 but I'm guessing a slow wet morning the land of the Prince Bishops!

No better in Norfolk to be honest - got so dark before it started to rain here that my chickens looked like they were heading back to bed.

Yes - 3.6 Targa - a tatty / well used version from a dealer.
It’s dropped off the Dvla radar since 2015

Andy, were you having a lay in?? :poke:

At 8:45 this morning I drove from Attleborough to Coopers BMW in Norwich with the roof down, bright blue sky and 5 degrees of scorching winter sun. :) It was a great little jolly up the A11 and A47, though I got a few odd looks.

And, to be fair, the Coopers staff do have a sense of humour! They rang me about 11 o'clock to say would I mind if they didn't wash my car as; a) it was already cleaner than they could get it, and b) their cleaning team refused to go outside in case they drowned.
HQ of 'Norfolk Zed Rescue'.
Always happy to help if I can.

If the forum helped you, why not help the forum back. Thats the Z4 way!

Doesn't everyone? - just garden chickens (not like a commercial concern) but they thought the sky was going to fall in.
