What's Your latest Camera.

Always seems to be a popular discusion. So I thought I would kick it off again.

After the unfortunate demise of my Coolpix P610 bridge camera. Due to it not being turps proof. :( I figured I had suffered enough smart phone pics and treated my self to a new 📷. The requirements had changed, due to me walking these days nor surfing. So out wth the small sensor and 60x zoom, so useful for capturing surf pictures, hundreds of yards away and in with a handy pocket sized power house, or so I hope, in the form of a Lumix TZ200. A still very handy 15x zoom 24 -360. Plus it has a decent 1 inch sensor. Results on a few experimental high contrast shots today suggest the sensor is vastly superior to the one that was in the P610.

Any way what is every one else packing for pics on the go at the moment?

I celebrated 21 years at my current place of work a few months ago. As part of that I was given a present. I choose a Canon 6D mk2 with a 24-10mm f4 lens. I just need to take some time to work out how to use it properly.

I've recently bought a Panasonic Lumix fz72 bridge camera, gets great reviews and does take some very nice shots but not sure if i should have bought something more compact as I dont use it a great deal and its a bit big to carry about which kinda puts me off taking it anywhere.. which defeats the point of having it

I had the same dilemma with the Coolpix. It was fine sitting on a rock with a small tripod filming surfers. Not so great once I started walking, too bulky.

The Lumix is a pocket camera. It's nothing to look at, looks like it should have cost a tenth of what it actually cost. It packs a powerful punch though. Hopefully it will be the perfect camera on the move. I took a few test pics in the shop before I bought it. Full zoom high contrast shiny metal edges. I was expecting some interference, those purple lines I have had with every other digital camera I have owned. Not a sign.

I bought a Canon 700D about 6 years ago and it's still going strong. It's generally put aside these days though since my Google Pixel takes such amazing photos!

Sony rX100 Mk 2 for me, decent sized sensor, superb Zeiss T* lens, fits in a pocket and fully manual if I feel like it.
Also a Nikon D7000 if I feel the urge for an SLR.

I have an elderly Canon 20D together with a EF 70-200mm f/2.8L and EF 17-40mm f/4L. Both great lenses. For carrying about I have a Panasonic Lumix DMC LX100 which produces some excellent shots. My iPhone XS is pretty decent as well.

Still use my trusty Canon 5d3 with 16-40L, 24-105L and 100 and 300L. It’s battered and still working 100%.. it’s ace.

Only takes black and white film though.

Had my Nikon D7200 for a few years now (moved from a D90 so I could keep the lenses) and love it.

Fuji X-T2 to go with my Fuji X-T1. Sold my X-E2 (which I kind of regret now).
