Man cave

Post by Smartbear » Wed Sep 18, 2019 8:20 pm

Popped round to Mrs Smartbears Cousin today & couldn’t help but notice his garage was a thing of wonder, an old Escort outside, a mk2 Golf waiting for some tlc, an old mini, Lotus Elan kit car and buried right at the back a very dusty Porsche 911 :o

I'll say one thing for Porsche, they use better materials than Ford did on their rear wing s of that era. Couple of warm sunny days and they would sag. Clearly the after market one didn't a I can't find any photo's.

Yes that's definitely a proper man cave, but such a shame to see the contents sitting there looking so unloved especially that 911.

Couldn't you offer to take 1 or 2 off his hands for your man cave?

I think so, he’s recently got the mk2 escort on the road after fitting a 2litre replacement engine/gearbox and an old mini has recently been rebuilt & sold as well.
He ran the 911 for a few years until it went into the cave for a “rest”
He’s got a Nissan Skyline incoming shortly :P

I suppose the problem is if you have the space, you end up filling it - unless finances dictate otherwise!

Nice problem to have I suppose (I wouldn't know).
