Loose chippings - a rant!
But the old guy was injured wasn’t he? Albeit superficial. An awful example of just pure selfish disregard for others (if the dizzy cow even realised what she was doing). Alas I suspect the law won’t give two hoots about this...I’m not even sure a law was broken. Did you get any pictures with your phone of the damage, particularly the poor old gent with the broken window and the blood running down his face?

Well your rant is definitely justified!
I hope you can get somewhere with making the self-obsessed bint in the RR face up to her disregard of any other road user.

Got photos of all 3 cars and the old boy, as did the other chap involved.
Son has been in touch. As he lives fairly close he will be there in the morning to look out for her.
Ironically it wasn't even my normal route. I was diverting to pick up our engineering apprentice, so rarely go that way

Just had a text. He got her! Video evidence this morning of her rattling through the 40 limit at excessive speed........................... on her phone
Emailing me and the other chap some screen shots for ID purposes and then he's taking it further.

John, I'm having second thoughts on posting this, as it doesn't seem to be doing much for your blood pressurejohn-e89 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 13, 2019 11:42 amWell that’s a result..!! If nothing else surely they can do the self entitled bitch for being on her phone.?

I will be keeping the receipt for my windscreen just in case, but as I said before, it's the old boy I feel sorry for. She should be made to walk to his house and apologise face to face.

Loose chippings - a rant!
Sadly there are too many of these type of idiots on the road today who drive without engaging their brain, or considering the consequences of what they do.
A couple of weeks ago the road just down from our house was surface dressed. On my way home from work I was sticking to the advised 20 limit, and I could not believe the number of people flying past in the opposite direction, or how quickly the queue of tailgaters built up behind me. Thankfully none of them were mad enough to try and overtake, because the road surface was lethal, literally. About an hour later a young lad of 17 came flying along the road about 100 yards from our house, and either didn't see or ignored the warning signs, went round a corner and hit a patch of loose chippings, lost it and smashed his car into a concrete bridge parapet. He survived, but his passenger was not so lucky.
