Clive Owen was a strong rumour at one time, looks the part and he's featured in a Z4 short action movie so can't be all bad. He apparently turned down the role of James Bond - because he reckons no-one can top Sean Connery, fair point.

Although Daniel Craig has probably been in the best James Bond films he probably shouldnt have been picked for the role at all as he doesnt fit the description of what James Bond should have looked like. He should have had dark hair and been mid thirties.
The same should also go for what colour of skin he has and whether 007 should be male or female.
If people want a female Bond type character, create one like they did with Salt. Same goes for if the want a black/asian/indian etc, just create a new character and leave the James Bond character as it is.
I am in no way a big Bond fan but you get the feeling that they are changing things to suit the PC brigade, like other films before this. The remake of Annie springs to mind.
