Never been pierced & 1 tattoo when I turned 50 nearly 2 years ago. William Wallace was hung drawn & quartet and the 4 parts were placed across England/ Scotland/ Wales borders as a reminder not to cross the King. Legend has it that Scotland stole this quarter back and is now buried north of the border.

No major story for me but I’ve been in England 20 years now and proud of my roots. Plus you would be hard pushed to find a similar tattoo!

I’m not tattooed (yet) but I’ve often considered committing a few ideas to ink

I can appreciate tattoos that either tell stories or reflect on experience, but can’t stand random BS tattoos done on the spur of the moment

My girlfriend’s sister is a former Muay Thai boxer who is covered in tattoos - all of which reflect her journey. She has recently started a tattoo business and is doing very well at it. Her advice to me was to not do anything unless completely sure about it. Its good to hear of artists who have scruples to turn away business.

Anyway, as the OP requested - this thread needs more pics
