Just a heads up as I dont think its been mentioned on here yet.

For those of us that are Costco members their 99 Octane Super is no more. Its now 97 Octane so no longer the equivalent of either Shell V Power or Tesco Momentum. Apparently they had a change of supplier a few weeks back and going forward its going to stay 97. Shame really as it was much much cheaper than Shell and usually a good 3-4 p/l cheaper than Tesco yet it had even more additives than either according to their marketing stuff.

They're still going to be continuing with both the Super Derv and the ordinarily Unleaded apparently. The info came from guy I spoke to at their Manchester Site today.

Glad I clocked it before I filled up!!! :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

I only ever use their normal 95 Ron stuff, but I filled the other halfs car up today and thought it was odd that the 'super' pumps only had 97 on them. I didn't realise they used to be 99 though :lol:

That's a shame (not that I can use it)! :(

Also why I never fill my Z4 at Sainsbury's as their "premium" unleaded is only 97 RON.
