For your first time holding a camera like that you didn’t come across awkwardly. I’d just say don’t start making videos for the sake of making a video like some idiots do

to be honest, it wasn't awkward. I kinda hoped it was a little cringey so i could laugh but wasnt the case so props to you. however, get yourself a gorilla pod / mount for your camera or phone and hold it further away. Itl also minimise the shaking

Cheers guys really appreciate it. Done a couple of vids before just to get a feel for it but nothing worthy of putting on YouTube.

Definatley need to invest in a go pro and a propper vlogging camera tho, doing it with your phone and editing it is a bit lame

Thanks again

Maybe a gimbal for your phone would be worth a try as a starting point before you look at cameras with flip screens, mike jacks, etc and start trying lenses with different focal lengths.

Good first effort Jamie - you've got that natural chatty speaking to the camera style, so once you get the right equipment go pro hero, video editing and some tunes, and work on your camera angles etc. I've no doubt it will become more polished

Apologies for my 2.0 comment it's just from what I've read on here

It's my birthday in a month so I'll request a camera and some mounts!

Not bad at all. I'd get my facts straight though before filming as things like "i think they might still use this block, but i might be wrong" ruins credibility for me. If I'm purposely watching a video for detailed information id want it to be 100% correct.

Keep it up!
