Release on hold messages

How do i 'release on hold messages'

I have made space by deleting some messages so it doesnt seem to free up the on hold messages automatically.

Any ideas?

There's no automatic. Needs to to be released manually

Ah, going by memory (on mobile) there's a link to click at the top of your messages. "Release on hold messages". Something like this...
