That's a great shame, we didn't see him much but you knew he was always there. A gentleman and a genuinely nice man. RIP Charlie

Charlie's presence and intelligence has been so valuable to F1. He was properly connected to the sport and its participants, unlike Mr Ecclestone, and could always be relied upon to make considered decisions. Although 66 is young to go, I'm glad he was able to live out his life in the F1 paddock without having to wave it goodbye.
