First big gig was Stevie Wonder in 1984 (I was 11) which was good.
Then came Cliff Richard in 1985, still in his pop/rocky period.

Best ever (no-one will beat it!) was U2 in 1992, the ZooTV Tour. Jesus christ they were on fire then...

Paul McCartney 1989 was great too.

Good to see people of similar taste, so here’s mine and please ignore the first one, I was a teenager at the time :D

Howard Jones
Sky
Fleetwood Mac
The Rolling Stones
Eagles
Genesis
Pink Floyd
Eric Clapton
Deacon Blue
Dire Straits
The Boxer Rebellion
Mumford & Sons

Eric Clapton is just the coolest guy on the planet, Pink Floyed was amazing and the Eagles (Hell freezes tour) was absolutely perfect. And my biggest regret is not seeing Radiohead for in rainbows

I saw loads of great bands years back on the university circuit, Fleetwood Mac (original Peter Green version), Eric Clapton, Jethro Tull, The Who, Cream, etc

Not so many these days, Paul McCartney (brilliant, great showman), Rolling Stones last year (good but very predictable).
