Out of all the cars I've driven recently, that's an easy one - F Type. Whilst it may not be the most dynamic of cars, it's by far the most in intoxicating and feels very very special. Then there's the looks!!

So many top cars to choose from but I've always fancied an F-Type based on its looks but my son would agree with Greg81

I would also be all over an f type ..such a beautiful looking motor and although the brand might not have the kudos it once enjoyed there is still something special to me about the jaguar marque

my weekend car would probably be an M5 or an M6... oodles of power, but big and comfy, perfect for grand touring or a weekend away with the missus - she's not into low or sporty cars particularly.

Audi Quattro.... 80's model as seen in Life on Mars, always wanted one, never had the money, still haven't, if you are lucky enough to find a runner they go for £30,000 +

Off the top of my head....
Decent 996 C2S & Change for some nice shiny bits (suspension and bush overhaul, gt3 seats, alcantara wheel, motorsport alloys, decent brakes, LSD, GT3 aero...)
997.1 C2S + use the change on a Proper Warranty to cover the potential for bore scoring
997.2 C2S
Peugeot 205 1.9 GTi
E46 M3
Honda S2000
Cayman R (excellent investment if you ask me)
C63 AMG Wagon
E61 M5 (Touring - it has to be the wagon!)
Mazda RX7 (nice original one will hold its value well now)
With the notable exception of the Pork offerings you'd see plenty of change from your £35k max budget....
lucky boy - great position to be in - I'd look to get something sorted soon though - wont be long before the pre-spring price hike of sports cars, ahead of the spring rush! It's why I got my new MCoupe in December

A mate of mine has just bought a bog std 997 first gen , 11k for a 58ish plate car with 125k miles . There's still bargains out there . Even if it's a dog , it isn't on first inspection mind , the guy needed the money , he could fix it and have a great car for reasonable money .
